1. Napoleon Dynamite exaggerates stereotypes for some of its humor. In a short essay, identify two or three stereotypes the film exaggerates. Then for each please explain who or what in the real-world is being stereotyped and what particular qualities are being exaggerated.

2. Pick you favorite character from the film and in a short essay explain why this character is your favorite. Be as specific as possible about the character traits and actions that make this character your favorite.

3. Consider the following main characters in the film: Napoleon, Kip (Napoleon’s brother), Pedro, Uncle Rico, Deb. In a short essay, discuss what if anything these characters share.
