HOW TO Post your Rough Draft to your CANVAS Writing Group

1. Click on “People” to the left. 

2. Click on “View User Groups” to the right and find your name in your group. 

3. Click on your Writing Group's name--for example click on the words “Writing Group #4” if you are a member of Writing Group #4.

4. Click on the word “Discussions” in the left-hand column and click the “+ Discussion” button.

5. In the “topic title” strip, type your name and the words “Essay #1.” 

6. Copy-and-paste your rough draft in the text box and click “Save.”

7. To respond to a rough draft, click on the word “Reply” below it and type your helpful, kind comments and advice.

8. When ready, click “post response.”
