Final Assignment: The Reflection Report
Many companies now ask employees for end-of-the-year evaluations. In these, the employee discusses his or her progress throughout the year, both successes and failures (if there were any.) Moreover, goals for one's self are listed or discussed. Thus, the final report you will write in this class is a reflective report. A report of this sort uses all of the tools you have gleaned while improving your writing skills:
Your job then is to reflect upon your experiences in this class, then write about them, describing how you have changed as a writer throughout your time in English 120. Since you are a pioneer of sorts, as not many people have taken this type of class, you should have much to share about your experiences. Some ideas you might incorporate, but you are not restricted to:
The goal here is to reflect back upon your development in these last few weeks, and write about those insights. This is your chance to talk about yourself as a worker and a writer. Please follow your own inspiration here. Know, too, that reflection reports are rarely less than two pages long, as they require depth of thought that means adequate development. Since this will be the final report you write in English 120, your talents should be amply displayed.
