Reflections

Students in Jan Strever's English classes are often asked to reflect back upon their time spent in their respective courses and try to understand how their time and effort in the class has changed them in some manner.  Each student comes to this writing situation to the best of her ability. Some choose to write a poem about the experience; others choose the standard essay format -- whatever the form, the authenticity of the experience often shines through.  Enjoy as you read how these students share their understanding of their writing processes in relationship to the energy they contributed.
