Discussion Question: What is still giving you nightmares (if anything) when it
comes to reading/summaryzing/finding key ideas/ taking test?
M: On your own. Read short story included in packet--this is the
packet that had the story by Joel Chafetz-- the story is by Andrea Cornochio
(thanks, Rosalie), and read the one on page 515, and turn in 1) checking your
comprehension, 2)the elements of the short story and 3)the discussion questions
on Tuesday. Also look to Week 10, where you and your classmates will be teaching
the class for a week. Start thinking of it now, okay?

Week's Question: Final Thought! Final chance to add your ideas and thoughts to
the board!
Presentations. BR due on Monday. You will have approximately five to seven
minutes to convince somebody to read your book, so I suggest your bring visual
aids--posters or handouts, or whatever you can think to help. You will not be
reading the book review to us...you will be selling the idea of reading the book
instead.
Final and reflection paper due on Thursday.
