1aEmail writing is required in some classes and is an effective way to reach classmates. 2aComputers should be utilized in classrooms as technology and information are constantly being updated. 3aComputers are extremely important in school and allow students the ability to access information quickly. 4aIt is important for students to understand how to use a computer. 5aAlthough learning the Internet in college would be helpful, exposure at an earlier age is almost required to be successful. 6aWatching television shouldn't be encouraged, however there are some educational programs that have merit. 7aMTV is popular with teens, however to many it is a good example why watching televsion shouldn't be encouraged. 8aDue to the popularity of X-Files a hit song was written about David Duchovny. 10aEmail is an effective way to communicte with family, friends, and classmates and has taken the place of letter writing. 11aIt is believed that Internet usage is bad for children, therefore it should be monitored by adults and limited to educational web sites. 12aThe thesis statement is the back bone of your paper. It is a progressive process and may take several attempts to become clear to the reader what your topic and opinion will be.

I also understand that there are thesis statements that dont entirely make sense, but can still exist.

The thesis is the glue that helps the entire paper to stick. Without a thesis, an essay may seem pointless. The reader may have difficulty understanding the direction the essay is going if a good thesis is not apparent. |
