6. What paragraph does not have enough evidence, remembering that research essays require substantial evidence?

7. Point out any places where you felt bogged down or overwhelmed with information with WHEW!

10. Identify the high point/climax with YES!

11. Are citations from both the text and outside references used? If not, where are some needed?

16. Was a survey undertaken?
    a. How many people were survey?
    b. By whom?
    c. Where was the survey taken?
    d. What type of questions were asked?
    e. What was the most interesting fact from the survey?
    g. Are we given both statistics about and quotations from the respondents of the survey?  If not, are they needed?

17.  Where any of the stakeholders in the situation interviewed?
     a. If so, who was interviewed?
     b. If not, do you think an interview would add to the overall depth of the paper's content?

18. Discuss the effectiveness of the beginning and ways to make it better.
        Does it capture attention?
        Does it use a quotation, fact or anecdote to create interest?
        What would make it better?

19.  Discuss the effectiveness of the ending and ways to make it better.
        Does it leave you hanging? Is it too abrupt?
        Does it oversimplify the material?
        Does is fulfill the promise of the introduction?

20. What final thoughts do you have about the draft?

21. What do you think will be most memorable?

22. If this were your paper, what would you do differently?

23. Any other comments for the author?
