USE the Purdue Owl Citation Chart to Record Publication Facts

HINT: Use the Purdue Owl Citation Chart to determine which publication facts you should write down.  Here's how:

First, locate the type of source you're working with on the Purdue Owl Citation Chart.

Second, find the column that corresponds to the citation format you will use: MLA or APA.

Third, in the box where the type of source and the citation format (MLA or APA) meet is the information you need to collect for that source.

Fourth, be sure to record all of the information and be sure to write it down accurately.

Fifth, store the information somewhere safe.

From this information, you'll be able to create the proper Works Cited page or References page listing when the time comes.
